The most important feature of modern labor law is its unity, which is based on a number of factors. Objectively existing differences in the nature, types of labor, under its conditions, give rise to the need for various approaches to assessing the labor of workers, the need for special norms.

in this manual, the specifics of the legal regulation of labor of individual categories of employees related to their psychophysiological characteristics are disclosed , the type of economic activity carried out by them (in the production, social and scientific spheres), labor communications with the employer and the place of the labor process, the features of the employer himself, the nature of the position held, the labor status of foreign workers and stateless persons.
