The speed of darkness. Moon E.
The world of the near future. A society in which diseases have gone the past, because genetic defects are removed before birth or in early childhood. Lou Arrendale, an adult high -functional autistic and a specialist in bioinformatics, belongs to the last generation that has not passed therapy.
Lu lives calmly and independently, until he is offered to undergo a new experimental treatment. After him, Arrendeil will become the same as everyone around him. But if Lou gets rid of autism, will he remain by himself? Will he still love complex classical music, see patterns and colors, shades and tones in the world, indistinguishable more than anyone else? And most importantly, will he still love Marjori, a girl who probably will never reciprocate? Lu has to decide whether he should agree to treatment, which can completely change his worldview... and the very essence of existence.
