The state and society in Russia and Europe

The scientific collection was compiled based on the materials of the conference, held at the Faculty of History of Moscow State University in November 2020. The conduct of readings on the memory of academician Yu.S. Kukushkin became a living tradition of young researchers inherent in his colleagues and students and supported by the current generation of young researchers.

The presented collection has combined about thirty works on the widest spectrum of issues of domestic policy, state construction, social and cultural development of Russia and European countries in the 20th century. Its authors develop large classical problems of historiography, raise discussion topics, outline promising ways to develop historical science.

The publication is intended for specialists in the field of domestic and universal history, students, as well as everyone interested in history.
