Book Semyon Stepanovich Gamichenko (1903-1993) “At the Lukomorye. The stories of the Guardian of the Pushkin Reserve ”are somewhat knocked out of a series of biographical, memoir and literary works presented in the series“ I love Pushkin ”.

In April 1945, Semen Stepanovich was appointed director of the State Pushkin Museum-Reserve in the village of Mikhailovsky. He almost re -created a museum destroyed during the war, and notes that he conducted for 45 years while working in it, and compiled this book.

The publication was supplemented by previously not published chapters from the archive of Semyon Stepanovich and prepared by his daughter Tatyana Semenovna Gamichenko.
