Anatoly Stepanovich Ivanov is one of the largest Soviet writers, the author of large -scale epic works “Shadows disappear at noon” and “Eternal Call”, filmed and still popular among readers. In the 1970-1980s, Anatoly Ivanov turned to the genre of the story, in which the new facets of his creative talent were revealed: his prose is still dynamic and built on acute dramatic situations, but at the same time the lyrical beginning was intensified in it.

The real edition included the stories “Life on the sinful land”, “enmity”, “the sadness of the fields” and “The story of unfulfilled love”.
