The structure of subjectivity. Milian - Pueles
Antonio Milian-Poelses (1921-2005)-a Spanish philosopher representing the phenomenological direction of modern thought in his peculiar Spanish version. Milian-Puelses is characterized by a combination of the phenomenological descriptive method with classic topics and approaches of Aristotelian-Cholastic ontology, as well as a clear or hidden polemic with the classics of German idealism.
“The structure of subjectivity”-one of the most famous and complex books of the author-was first published in 1967. In it, Milian Poelses conducts a comprehensive phenomenological analysis of subjectivity (understood as the final bodily-spiritual human “I”, taken in his actuality) and the conditions of the possibility of its cognitive and volitional activity.
