The name of Nikolai Leonov is well known to fans of the detective genre. In the 1950s and 1960s, the future writer worked on the Moscow criminal wanted list, and having left the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the rank of captain, he took up literary work. He is the author of many novels and novels recognized by the classics of the domestic detective and who became a “school” for the next generation of writers.

The plot of the second novel (it is written in collaboration with Yu.
