The teachings of Aristotle and his peripathetic school about God. Korsunsky I.N.

The attention of readers is proposed to the book of the Russian Spiritual writer I. N. Korsunsky, dedicated to the study of the doctrine of the God of the great ancient Greek thinker Aristotle and the school founded by him, called the peripathetic. Evidence of God's being among Aristotle is given, including cosmological, teleological, ontological, psychological, historical and moral evidence. The teachings of Aristotle on the essence and properties of God are presented; His attitude to the popular religion is analyzed. The question is considered in what relation is the teachings of Aristotle about God to the teachings of His predecessors, in particular Plato, as well as to the Christian doctrine of God. At the beginning of the book, a brief overview of the life and activity of Aristotle is presented.
