The drama “Temptation of St. Anthony” was the last major work of Gustav Flaubert. This is the most mysterious, least studied and one of the most readable works of the writer. In it, Flobert reveals his soul, at the same time raising important philosophical and theological problems. In this publication, the text of his drama is translated by Boris Zaitsev and illustrated the works of a talented French artist Georges Roshgross.
