In a series of books Debbie Kraer “A Program based on ECERS”, a technology for working with children of 3-5 years old is presented, reflecting the concept that is based on the assessment of the quality of preschool education using “scales for a comprehensive assessment of the quality of education in preschool educational organizations” (ECERS). Since in our country these scales also began to be used to assess the quality of preschool education, the publication of the book Debbie Kraer is timely and very relevant.

The program is built around 18 topics. This book contains material for working with children on the topic “Studying birds”. Thanks to working with this topic, children learn about birds many new facts. They will get acquainted with the anatomy of birds, the food that birds eat, with how and from which the birds build their nests, etc.

The book contains educational tasks and planning of work, scenarios of classes, tips for filling the centers of activity and enrichment of the free game of children. Visual-dectic material, which goes out by a separate publication, will help teachers prepare for classes.
