The use of osteoplastic materials in the oral cavity surgery. Bazikyan E.A., Chunikhin A.A.

The textbook complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education in the specialty "Dentistry" and the program in the discipline "Dentistry", taking into account the modernization of medical education. The material is set out according to the block-modular system and is designed to help the formation of students of professional knowledge, competencies, skills and practical skills in the use of modern osteoplastic materials in various pathologies to accelerate the process of bone remodeling.

The publication shows the basic properties of modern osteoplastic materials, as well as the principles of their use in bone reparation in various pathology. Particular attention is paid to surgical methods of treating large -sized cysts using osteoplastic materials and bone augmentation methods when restoring the necessary width and alveolar process on the upper jaw and the alveolar part on the lower jaw. Recommendations are given on the use of osteoplastic materials to fill in bone defects during the surgery of submarine augmentation on the maxillary sinus, as well as after removing the teeth in order to maintain bone tissue. Schemes, drawings, control questions, test tasks and examples of situational tasks are given.
