Alexander Skidan was born in Leningrad in 1965. The author of more than a dozen books, including the novel “Guide to N” (2018) and notes “Lit. Ra: Selected FB-Writings (2013-2020)”. He translated modern American poetry and prose, theoretical work on literature and art. Prize winner Andrei Bely (2006) for the book of poems “Red Assistance”. School of the Foundation Joseph Brodsky (2018). Poems were translated into many languages and are included in various anthologies. In 2008, the Brilling Duckling Presse publisher was published in the United States. Editor of the Practice department in the journal New Literary Review. He lives in St. Petersburg.
The verses that made up the book were printed in the magazines Volga, Mirror, Banner, Rhino, Paradigm, on the resources of “Gresis”, “Circus” Olympus "+TV" and others. The author expresses gratitude to these publications and their editors.
