The wing of the falcon. Dmitriev M.
Each era should have its own Alexei Tolstoy with “walking through the torment” or Mikhail Sholokhov with “Quiet Don”. We must have ours. However, alas, either the era has not yet ended, or the writer grinned. But through the ashes of the Russian land burned over a third century, contrary to all “boukers” and “big books”, the names of the authors sprouted in whose heart this ashes knocks. One of them is Mikhail Dmitriev. The heroes of his works are those born in the USSR, but the effective managers and unsuccessful businessmen, cruel bandits and greedy beauties, in general, losers and beneficiaries of perestroika and wild market, nourished in the frostbitten 90s. The lost generation in which the writer seeks to find a ray of light - and sometimes finds. But it is no coincidence that the author chose a line from the Gospel to one of his works by an epigraph to one of his works: “Woe to you, saturated!” Our era is on the fracture, at the edge, and only on us depends, Russia will collapse into the abyss or flying into the Russian sky. But will there be in us, saturated with evil and an abomination, burdened by the sins of the past years, the forces of pulling our feet out of the current swamp, to fly over a dying era? Mikhail Dmitriev is trying to answer this question in his work.
