“The Wizard of the Emerald City” is a fairy tale of Alexander Melentievich Volkov. She was conceived as a retelling of Laimen Frank Baum's fairy tale “An amazing wizard from the country of Oz,” but the heroes of the story healed their own life, and another story was obtained. Ellie, Scarecrow, Iron Lumberjack, Leo and Totoshka were very fond of readers, and A. Volkov wrote a cycle of 6 books about a magical country. The first story from this cycle with the new drawings of the famous illustrator of the children's book Vadim Chelak entered our book.
