The works of St. Ignatius (Bryanchaninov) are a spiritual treasury of the Russian Orthodox Church. Wisdom, extraordinary insight, susceptibility made him a skilled healer of mental ailments. Dating with this ascetic and preacher was looking for many outstanding contemporaries - among them Gogol, Dostoevsky, Admiral Nakhimov. N. S. Leskov dedicated his story to him “Unbelievers' Engineers”. And today, interest in the creations of the saint does not fade away. They are distinguished by the deepest knowledge and comprehension of the Holy Scriptures, the creations of the Holy Fathers and outstanding literary skills. The present publication included such well -known works as “The Word of Man”, “The Word of Death”, “On Miracles and Signes”.
