more than 400 tasks are given that can be used for audit and independent classes of students in the disciplines of welding areas of training. The main attention is paid to the thermal efficiency of welding sources of heat, thermal processes for welding and their use to optimize welding modes. A number of tasks are devoted to the issue of requirements for the accuracy of maintaining welding modes, interaction in the “arc - power source” system. The issues of the features of melting electrodes in various methods of welding with melting are highlighted. Many of the tasks are interdisciplinary in nature and should be solved using computer programs, the examples of which are given in the application.
