The basic concepts and laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamic processes of changing the state of ideal gas, water and water vapor are considered. Cycles of steamer and gas turbine plants, piston internal combustion engines are presented. Schemes of steam -gas installation and installation for the integrated production of heat and solid carbon dioxide are given. Examples of calculation of thermal power plants and their elements are given.
