The book “Thinking and Speech” was the result of the almost ten-year work of the founder of the cultural and historical theory of development of the psyche and personality of Lev Semenovich Vygotsky. The author himself described it as a “psychological study of one of the most difficult, confusing and complex issues of experimental psychology - the question of the connection of thinking and speech”.

The work is recognized as the classics of domestic psycholinguistics and retains its scientific significance to this day, becoming fundamental to the theory and practice of modern psychology.
