Thanks to an accidental meeting, the hero’s second life begins there - a dramatic continuation of the first. Andrei Dmitriev is faithful to the literary tradition and will not deceive the expectations of those who have already appreciated his “Turn of the River”, “Closed Book”, “Road Back”, “Bay of Joy”, “Peasant and Tineeger”. But like every big master, he opens with each work from a new side. “This shore” is certainly a tragedy. But the tragedy created according to the laws of the comedy of errors.
