Thoughts on the way. Journalism, essay, criticism. Orwell J.
English writer George Orwell (real name Eric Arthur Blair) entered the history of literature primarily as the author of the famous satirical fairy tale “Castard” (1945), where the events and consequences of the Russian Revolution, and developing the development of the Russian Revolution, were displayed in a parody-satirical form The ideas of this fairy tale of the novel “1984” (1948, publ. 1949), which, along with “We” by E. Zamyatin and “The Beautiful New World” O. Haxly, became one of the main anti-sculptopia books of the twentieth century. However, along with artistic prose, significant - and no less interesting - part of Orwell's creative heritage are journalistic and critical works. This collection includes selected articles, essays, notes and reviews of the writer, in which culture, science, art and literature are considered in close connection with political and social history.
