English writer George Orwell (real name Eric Arthur Blair) entered the history of literature primarily as the author of the famous satirical fairy tale “Castard” (1945), where the events and consequences of the Russian Revolution, and developing the development of the Russian Revolution, were displayed in a parody-satirical form The ideas of this fairy tale of the novel “1984” (1948, publ. 1949), which, along with “We” by E. This collection includes selected articles, essays, notes and reviews of the writer, in which culture, science, art and literature are considered in close connection with political and social history.
