The translation into Russian of the fairy tales “Thousands and one night”, made by Mikhail Salier and conveying all the originality and flavor of the original, has long been considered a classic of domestic literature. However, there was still no complete publication of this outstanding. It's time to fix this annoying omission! We offer readers a collection of fairy tales, verified according to the classic eight -volume of 1929-1939, as well as other rare publications, with the restoration of all censorship reductions. The publication is accompanied by illustrations of the wonderful St. Petersburg artist Nikolai Alekseevich Ushin, for which he received a gold medal at the 1937 World Exhibition, held in Paris.
