Archimandrite Theodore (Alexander Matveevich Bukharev; 1822–1871) - Russian Spiritual Writer, Theologian, Ordinary Professor of the Moscow Theological Academy. "Three letters" about. Theodora, prepared for printing back in 1848, but saw the light only in 1860, are dedicated to "selected places from correspondence with friends." The author turns to the system of thoughts of N. V. Gogol about being and morality, about the fate of the human race, about church and Russia, about art and poetry, about modern society and the infinite love of God for man in Christ.
