The Great Historical Epkey “Three -Destroyed” leads the list of “four classic novels” - the most famous Chinese works of the XIV -XVIII centuries. In China, this is perhaps the most popular and beloved book, but in the West, Three -Twerful is still considered the most popular Chinese novel. It depicts events dating back to the 3rd century AD, when China fell into three independent kingdoms that continuously fought among themselves. However, a “historical” novel can be called a stretch: rather, it is an incredible interweaving of many plots (the reader will find here descriptions of military battles, intrigues, power struggle, love ups and downs and much more), where historical reliability is combined with the myths and legends of ancient China.

In this publication, the text is published according to a two -volume, released by the State Publishing House of fiction in 1954, and is accompanied by comments and classical illustrations of Chinese artists.
