Tuya Western Golden Globe is a small decorative shrub, a slowly growing variety. The shape of the bush is spherical, inside the ball of foliage of bright green color, and along the outer edges-golden yellow. In the autumn, the needles become copper. The growth is slow, about 7-8 cm per year. At the age of 10, the thuja reaches a height of 0.8 m.
The requirements for soil fertility are quite high, grow well on rich in nitrogen, moisturized, light, breathable, drained loams. In a dry summer, it needs additional watering.
thuja is used in private landscaping. It is suitable for solitary planting on the lawn, in compositions with other coniferous and deciduous plants, for the installation of not high hedges. A wonderful bright accent among green -faceted rocks of deciduous and coniferous plants. It is planted on alpine slides, retaining walls, in containers.
