Tibetan book of the dead, or posthumous experiences on the plan of Bardo

“The Tibetan Book of the Dead, or posthumous experiences on the bardo plan” is a unique monument of the Tibetan religious and mystical culture, telling about the rules of behavior of the soul in posthumous state.

This book is the first translation into English of the famous Tibetan The text about the death “The Great Liberation by Listening in an intermediate state”, also known as Bardo Potol, which means “Liberation by listening on plan after death” (Bardo - “Plan after death”, Potol, or Tropol, “Rumor Liberation” ). Initially, the text was written in the Tibetan language and was supposed to serve as a leadership of the transition from previous life to a new embodiment for those who died. The work is traditionally attributed to Padma-Sambhava, Indian mysticism, which, as they said, brought knowledge of Buddhism to Tibet in the 7th century.
