Tips for life. Gaska Ya.
“The great Czech writer Yaroslav Hashka” - so, without false modesty, he called one of his stories. And he was, in essence, right. His novel “The Adventures of the brave soldier Schweik” entered the Golden Fund of World Literature of the 20th Century, spread throughout the world with millions of circulations. Many consider Gashek the author of one work (like Rabelais, Cervantes, Griboedov, Koster). But this is not so - several hundred of the most witty stories and feuilletons came out from under his pen, many of which have not lost their acuity and relevance to this day (one invented by Gashek “Party of Moderate Progress within the framework of the rule of law” is worth it!). The book “Tips for Life”, published on the 130th anniversary of the birth of Yaroslav Gashek, included his chosen satirical stories. Some of them were written in Russia ("Diary of the Ufa bourgeois", etc.).
