The collection “The Closer” includes research, articles and essays of famous critics, writers and scientists dedicated to poetry and prose by Nikolai Kononov. Gathered by chronological principle, materials show how the vector of interest in modern literature has changed. Partly the collection is the publication of the materials of the Kononian Readings, which took place in 2013 and 2018. At the Baltic Federal University named after Immanuel Kant. The collection also included the books “Z/K or Vivisection: Book of Protocols” (together with M. Zolotonosov) and “Phenomenological symptographer” (A. Belykh).
“Nikolai Kononov is one of the few modern writers. Cable to give the reader the happiness of possession of being. The sensory revelation in which a person gains himself in his letter receives an unprecedented fullness of severity and semantic completeness. A sophisticated accentuation encourages to reduce all connections with the world, to rebuild yourself again. In this opportunity to be born in a word again - the exceptional power and attractiveness of the Kononovsky text ”(A. Zhitenev).
