And what can be seen on the way to the north?
Hard and beautiful nature, a frozen past and living present are waiting for travelers. It’s only with the whole family to get into the car and start your way.
first in the Leningrad region, past Lake Ladoga, through all of the Karelia, along Onega, along the White Sea and further, further - on the Kola Peninsula, beyond the mountainous CHIBIN chain. Deer herds graze there. Seagulls fly there, the seals lie on the stones, the polar owl circles in the night sky... There, spring comes to the tundra only in June, but the generous forest manages to bestow everyone with berry-jewelry treasures: amber cold, blue pearls of blueberries, ruby lingonberries...
people live and work there. Reindeer herders burn bonfires on camps in the tundra. Fishermen go to sea. Workers in helmets and lanterns descend underground behind the ore.
Have you gone? The seagull flies outside the window, waves the wing, beckoning to the north.
