In the summer of 1903, artist Sergei Vasilievich Zhotovsky (1869-1936) was fortunate to accompany Fr. John of Kronstadt - a miracle worker, a spiritual writer, archpriest and rector of Andreevsky Cathedral in Kronstadt - in one of the water travels to the village of Sura of the Arkhangelsk province.
