The book contains works on the study of Russian thought of the XIX and XX centuries, which have been written for several decades.

recently attempts to overestimate the significance of Russian philosophy towards the decrease and bring it out of the circle of European philosophical and cultural development. The task of this book is to withstand this trend and show in the updated perspective many leading persons of domestic philosophizing. C. Soloviev, N. A. Berdyaev, S. N. Bulgakov. In addition, the features of the mental path of such influential figures as L. I. Shestov, P. A. Florensky, S. L. Frank, G.P. Fedotov.

are highlighted here in accordance with the Russian cultural tradition Thinkers, no less than the philosophers themselves, belong to the great classics of our literature, who acted with social prophecies, “with the most acute issues of personality and the deepest questions about God and the world” (A. A. Blok). This gives us the reason to include in a series of illuminated names A. S. Pushkin, F. M. Dostoevsky, A. I. Solzhenitsyn.
