not far from the small Norwegian town of Trumso, a young man named Rasmus disappears on a deserted island with a lighthouse. His parents turn to the former specialist in police interrogations Torkild Asuke for help with a request to find their son. Torkild recently left prison, where he spent three years for an unintentional murder. It depends on drugs and is far from in the best condition. With great reluctance, Torkild goes to the lighthouse.
