Palamite Constantinople Cathedrals 1341-1368. -The most important event is not only for the history of the Byzantine Church and the Empire, but also for the Eastern Orthodox Theology. And it is no coincidence that in the Orthodox churches the teachings of Palamite cathedrals actually have an authority equal to the authority of the Ecumenical Councils.
The Russian reader for the first time is offered a translation of the tomos of the above cathedrals: 1341, 1347, 1351 and 1368, which replenishes the existing gap for historians , patrologues, theologians, and just for everyone who wants to get acquainted with the history of disputes about Hesyham and Divine energies: so far he is familiar with them in the abbreviated transfers of various authors who have devoted their works to the history of this issue. This gap is all the more annoyed that the developed SVT. Gregory Palamas and his associates, the teaching, formulated, including during these cathedrals, became one of the cornerstones in Orthodox theology. Tomos contain not only the key to Eastern Orthodoxy philosophical and theological definitions and selections of authoritative quotes, but also historical information about the events that took place at that time. The translation was made according to the latest critical publications and is equipped with historical and textological comments; The authorship of quotes given in the tomos is carefully verified.
