The proposed manual is a collection of control tests for general surgery and can be used by teachers of this clinical discipline both for everyday control of students' self -training, and for the final control in the form of an exam or offset. The collection includes sections in full compliance with the program and the currently recommended for domestic universities by training manuals on general surgery. After each thematic block of questions, there are standards of answers.

The manual was prepared by employees of the Department of General Surgery of the Pediatric Faculty of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov. For students and teachers of medical universities.
