Transformations of drama in history. Structures of order and structure of chaos. Bogdanova P.B.

Like all artistic genres, the drama has been throughout the days for two and a half millennia for two and a half millennia - it passes through various transformations. These are the transformations of two dramatic structures - closed and open or, otherwise, the structure of the order and structure of chaos. The first coincides with the periods of the strict organization of society, the presence of a center in the form of supreme power, the presence of laws, certainty of social relations, the dominance of logic, and people's vital activity. The second is with periods of fragmentation, the crisis of public morality, the depth of people into the inner world and private life, the uncertainty of life positions, irrational trends in art and philosophy.

In his book, P. Bogdanova traces all the stages of the transformations of these structures throughout European history, and also analyzes the laws by which structures replace each other. This “drawing” of transformations helps to shed light on the existence of not only historical, but also some nadistoric principles of art development.
