A story about love and hatred, memory and oblivion, stretched out for two centuries, will bring the reader to Brussels, Paris and New Orleans, to Oceania and Mauritius, and the deaf pre -war night in the border Spanish village will end. But there will be no end of the stories of this, and the point is not the finale, but only a respite, after which everything will begin again, but in a different order.
