Trauma and soul: Spiritual and psychological approach to human development and its interruption.. Kalred D.
The basis of the psychotherapy of post -traumatic disorders of the personality, Donald Kalzhenda puts the idea that the soul lives between the two worlds - material and spiritual, and culture provides personality with a mythopoetic matrix that helps to survive after severe injury. Analyzing the similarities and differences of the Jungian and psychoanalytic approaches to therapy, the author reveals the subtleties of psychological work with dreams and bodily symptoms of people who survived early injuries. Particular attention is paid to the study of dissociation and self -destructive trends in the treatment of dissociation, the specifics of transfer/counter -transperture and insufficient symbolization.
To illustrate his conclusions, the author uses clinical material and artistic images, including fairy tales.
