In the fall of 1922, Albert Einstein took a trip to the distant and near East for almost six months. Hong Kong and Singapore, two short stops in China, numerous lectures throughout Japan were strung on the thread of his complex route, almost a two -week stay in Palestine and a three -week in Spain. Under this cover is the full text of the diary that the physicist conducted during the trip.

Notes became the subject of close attention of the researchers, because they also contain indications of the author’s controversial views on the racial issue, which are partly explained, however, the trends of the era.
