Those who quit writing the poems of Artyur Rimbao, who replaced many professions and countries, settles in East Africa, where he travels, engaged in colonial commerce, conducts anthropological and geographical observations. Finally, he decides on the company that seemed quite profitable at first, which eventually almost ruins him and seriously undermines his health. The message of the Rimba on the situation in the region, read as an adventure novel, appears for the first time in the newspaper Egyptian Bosphorus in August 1887 by a separate book “Travel” was published only in 1928.

The book is supplemented by the letters of Rimbao previously unknown to the Russian reader, which he wrote to his family during this period. In Russian it is published for the first time.
