Travel to travel to Arzrum
A trip to Arzrum during the campaign of 1829 is not one of the canonical Pushkin texts - too artless for artistic prose and too mean for entertaining traverse, neither Pushkin contemporaries, nor subsequent generations and did not often attract the attention of scientists. The new book of Alexander Dolinin destroys the established reputation: a comprehensive analysis of the “Travel” and his sources in the wide context of the Metalitative installations of the late Pushkin allows you to read the laconic story about the trip to the Russian-Turkish war as an autobiographical story about the awareness of his own-human and creative-fate and puts it in in A number of Pushkin masterpieces. The book also includes the text “Traveling to Arzrum”, as it was published by Pushkin himself in 1836, equipped with notes and commentary notes.
