The fiasco invincible armada from the very beginning has risen by legends, behind which real events are not always visible. But hundreds of hours spent by Robert Stepui in the archives allowed him to get to the bottom of many facts, make an unexpected discovery and write an exciting book. Its central figures are the commander of the invincible armada Duke of Medina-Sidonia, the cousin of King Philip II, and the brave of the Spanish captains Alonso Martinez de Leiva, who had an order to take command of the Armada in the event of the death of the duke. But it turned out that Medina-Sidonia, having mediocre his mission, but increasing his condition, returned home, and de Leiva, along with 60 Spanish grades, died off the coast of Ireland. Of the Girona, 1300 people managed to escape only nine on board the Galeas. After almost four hundred years, the expedition, organized by Robert Stepui, found the place of death of Girona and raised the treasures that were on board.
