In a modern society, where games gain more and more popularity and become more and more affordable, gambling, that is, a pathological fascination with a game, turns into a serious problem. In most cases, an excessive passion for the game has a negative impact on the personal, social and professional life of a person, giving rise to serious financial problems. Numerous scientific studies have demonstrated the high efficiency of cognitive-behavioral therapy of this pathology. This manual, compiled by the developers of the KPP program of gambling treatment, the effectiveness of which is confirmed by a number of empirical studies, includes all the information and materials necessary for the successful treatment of this pathology.
