Trinity Paterik

The proposed book contains the biographies of ascetics of the XIV -XX centuries included in the Cathedral of Radonezh Saints, whose life and ministry were somehow connected with the Trinity - Sergius Lavra, founded by the Monk Sergius of Radonezh - one of the most revered in Rus' by the saints of God. This publication is a significantly expanded version of the Trinity Pateric, prepared at the end of the 19th century by the Archbishop of Vologda and Totemic Nikon (Christmas). Since its release, the host of Radonezh saints has replenished with a number of ascetics, most of which are the new martyrs and confessors of the 20th century. This determined the need to prepare a new edition of Trinity Pateric.

The book also takes into account the data of the recent scientific research. The proposed publication is designed for a wide range of readers who want to join the spiritual heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church.
