Tukei. Veloscope-Genrich L.
Romanes from the cycle “Sons of the Big Bear” Liselotta Veloscope-Genrich are on a par with adventure books about the Indians of North America Fenimore Cooper and Mine Reed. The works of a German writer became a classic of youth literature, repeatedly reprinted, were translated into dozens of languages and filmed. The beginning of the cycle was laid by the novel of the same name, which was released in 1951, and its author was awarded the prestigious literary award. In subsequent years, Veloscope-Genrich did not leave work on the book and expanded it significantly. The first full edition saw the light in three volumes in the early 1960s (later the cycle also reached the form of a six-meter). For the active support of the North American Indians, the Tribal Union, the union, awarded the writer the honorary title of Lakota-Tashin, the defender of Lakota.
The readers' attention is proposed to the final volume of the trilogy - “Tokei Issue”, in the center of which the fate and exploits of the young leader of the sons of the Big Bear and the dramatic conflicts of the Indians’s life amid their courageous struggle for their original lands and freedom. The novel is represented in the new, full translation of the faith of Akhtyrskaya (previously the "sons of the Big Bear" in Russian were published in an abbreviated form); The book also includes excellent illustrations by Pavel Paramonov.
