Tunberg's spirea is a compact shrub. The height and width are -0.9-1.2 m. The length of the foliage is about 60 mm, and the width is 25 mm. Fine leaflets are painted in a pale green, sometimes yellowish tint. In the autumn, they acquire a gold color and last long on short petioles. Butons are white with a pinkish tint. Culture flowers look like exquisite five -petal stars. The inflorescences are umbrella with a diameter of about 30 mm.
