The verses of Osip Mandelstam is one of the pillars supporting the heavenly set of Russian poetry of the twentieth century. The poet’s life was interrupted by the Soviet totalitarian machine, but his poems remained the subject of worship and cult for thousands of people in our time. According to O. E. Mandelstam, real poetry is not addressed to specific people, not even to contemporaries, but to unknown interlocutors, friends whom Providence itself sends the poet. Mandelstam's heritage was re -opened in his homeland only half a century after his tragic death. His name became a symbol of not only absolute creative skill, but also a huge moral power.
