Cavers of the poem by Nikolai Zabolotsky, “The Ugly Girl” (1955) were written in 2017-2018 by participants in the poetic program “Invention” of the Festival of Modern Art “Debarkader” (Chelyabinsk). The idea of the project belongs to the Chelyabinsk poet Alexander Manichenko. Among the authors of the Cavers are Moscow poets Nikolai Zvyagintsev, Gennady Kanevsky, Oleg Pashchenko, Yanina Vishnevskaya, Danila Davydov, Dana Kurskaya, Oksana Vasyakina, Rostislav Amelin, Literary critic Alexander Gavrilov, Ural poets Natalia Sannikova, Ekaterina Simonova, Yulia Podlubnova, Konstantin Rubinsky , Janis Grants, Egan Dzhabbarova, Ruslan Komadei and others, a fantast from Solikamsk Alexei Lukyanov.
