Ural old man. Issue 11. Local history notes
, as always, not quite noticeable, but always with results, time passes. And now the fifth year of the work of the Society of the Ural local historians is ending after a significant event-the first major anniversary, the 25th anniversary of existence, activities and hopes for the future in the development of the local history movement, which collects the facts of the history of the Urals.
And here we are opening the next, 11th issue of Ural Antiquity, released for the 30th anniversary of society. It contains a variety of types of information about the Ural Territory.
The publication continues the chronicles of society in the form of a local history diary, which describes in great detail meetings, meetings, messages of local historians about their searches and events. Many previous issues covered the topic of the life and activities of famous scientists, travelers and writers who opened our wonderful land to the world. This time, material is published about Adolf Yakovlevich Kupepher, who did a lot in research, history and life of the Urals. And it is very interesting that the author of the publication is a direct descendant of the researcher with the Assembly of “Pla-Prav-” Irina Sergeevna Kupfer, Yekaterinburg public figure and writer with engineering education.
The deeds and fate of our eminent fellow countrymen, in particular, for example, the diary memoirs of the famous Ural local historian Alexander Alekseevich Cherdantsev, the actual member of Wal, are not forgotten. Interesting memories of the life of ordinary Urals in different periods of the history of the region in some of its cities, factories, and villages. Information about local history activities in the years of the so -called “Khrushchev thaw” is published, when some prohibitions were really lifted.
Our Urals keep many secrets. This is not only ore wealth and unique minerals in the depths of its bowels. These are dungeons in its cities and weights. An article of local historian and writer Vladimir Nikolaevich Surenkov is devoted to the study of the dungeons of Polevsky. It represents the beginning of a future book about the underground secrets of the Bazhov land. The secrets of the Ural Yavi are also reflected in the materials of the section "End of antiquity... and yesterday." Our local history book and the glorious city of Yekaterinburg did not go around. In previous publications, the debt was repaid by the architecture of the city: both the classics and to constructivism as one of the styles that the city and the region can be proud of. And so we can get acquainted with an interesting building-the construction of the 1930s, reflecting the transition period from constructivism to neoclassic. The content of the publication also affected questions of the attitude of citizens to some monuments of the sculptural direction.
The difficult issue of modernity is the toponymy of cities, villages and natural territories. Attractive is the question of the origin of certain names, especially those that appeared naturally, sometimes reflecting with their name a certain centuries -old essence of life processes and perceptions.
It so happened that the mining production of the Urals was largely determined by the labor of people pursued by the authorities, who professed the prohibited religious direction, called "ancient piety." These were hard, honest and modest people in everyday life. It was they who moved the Ural industry, merchants, charity and education of virtue. About them, the Old Believers, are told by some documentary facts given in our publication.
The release of small, but necessary in our time by environmental aspects dedicated to the “Health Elixir” created in the Urals - Medu and the Indicator of Living Nature, which is represented by a bee community affecting the purity of the earth's space.
