Poetic collections of Joseph Brodsky “Stop in the desert”, “End of the beautiful era”, “Part of speech”, “New Stans by August”, “Urania” and “Landscape with Flood” for a long time remained inaccessible to Russian readers, except "Samizdat." In the 1970-1990s, these books were published by the American publishing house "Ardis".
