Van Gogh wrote 35 self -portraits, which in one form or another expressed his internal state. It was not harmonious and often plunged him into the shaky world of painful experiences. Someone called this world a strange, even phantasmagoric, but through it a great painter opened us an original artistic style that you can’t confuse with any other. He lived a difficult life, but gained immortality.
