Swami Giotirupananda - the monk of the Order of Ramakrishna, who has lived in Russia for more than old years. Since 1995, he has been heading the “Ramakrishna - Center for Vedanta” in Moscow, a religious organization registered in Russia and supporting canonical communication with the Ramakrishna monastery in India. Confessing the Vedanta - the “crown of the Vedas”, the religion and at the same time philosophy, originating in ancient India - Swami gives her the interpretation that was widespread in the world along with the institution of the Ramakrishna mission in 1897. Vivekananda, the founder of the mission, formulated its motto: "For the sake of the personal liberation of man and the benefit of all mankind." This publication is a collection of lectures given to the 100th anniversary of the Ramakrishna mission in Penza, where India days were held in Russia in 1996-1997.
